The citizens of Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro will be able to travel visa free in Moldova. A bill to this effect was approved by the Government, IPN reports.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman said this decision will contribute to strengthening the economic, commercial, technical-scientific and cultural relations with these states and to developing tourism.
From financial viewpoint, the decision will not affect the amounts collected into the state budget as the number of citizens of these countries who asked for entry visas for Moldova was insignificant.
In May, Albania abolished the visa requirements for Moldovans. Macedonia and Montenegro also expressed readiness to annul the visa regime with Moldova.
