The mission of observers of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States said the electoral offices of the polling places are sufficiently prepared for the October 30 presidential elections. The about 70 observers of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will travel to about 150 polling places to monitor the elections and vote count as well, IPN reports.
Alexey Sergeev, secretary general of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, who attended the opening of the polling place housed by the General Railways Division of Moldova, located on Vlaicu Parcalab St in Chisinau, said all their conclusions will be incorporated in a report that will be presented after the elections.
The official said he will personally visit ten electoral offices. The delegation will meet with the observers of other missions. After they take part in vote count, the observers will hold a meeting to sum up the results.
The mission’s report will be presented in a news conference on October 31.
