CIS foreign ministers discuss Georgia's participation in agreements and decisions

The Council of CIS Foreign Ministers Thursday will discuss 22 issues concerning improvement of cooperation in a number of areas with a view to optimizing the work of the CIS institutions, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The decisions that will discussed include: the decision on Georgia's participation in international agreements and decisions made by CIS institutions, the decision on the CIS heads of state's appeal to the CIS peoples and international community in connection with the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War, the decision on veteran organizations in the CIS member states, the statement on book support, etc.
The foreign ministers will also examine a number of documents that will be submitted to the Council of CIS Heads of Government for consideration, including: the protocol on the introduction of amendments to the agreement on cooperation between border guards with the states that do not form part of the CIS, the decision concerning the preliminary action plan for implementing the principles of the Statement on the Migration Policy of the CIS States, the decision concerning the plan of cooperation in extending the use of distance learning technologies, etc.
Other topics for discussion include the work of the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation between the CIS States, the Protocol on Cooperation between the CIS Executive Committee and the Secretariat, the Agreement on Collective Security.
