At the documentary festival „Chronograph”, held on May 30–June 3 in Chisinau, special awards will be announced, starting next edition, for the best documentary treating subjects regarding the protection of human rights in Moldova. In order to give an impetus to making documentaries on this topic, OWH TV Studio, together with UNDP Project „Support in implementing the National Action Plan in human rights field”, organizes, on May 30-31, a workshop on the topic „Human rights and documentary”. At the workshop, the cineastes of Moldova will be encouraged to mirror the matters of human rights in their works, taking into consideration the total lack of movies on this topic in Moldova. The workshop gathers 15 representatives of the local TV stations, students of theatre and Film Faculty, as well as cineastes from Moldova, who during these two days will have the possibility to learn new techniques and modern cinema approaches in making such works. An opportunity for the participants at the workshop is as well the possibility to make experience exchange with abroad directors present at the „Chronograph” festival. The workshop is lead by the expert in cinema Marian Voicu, the moderator of the talk show „talks about facts” on TVR-1 of Romania.
