The administration of the Cimislia district, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Moldovan Association of Grape Farmers and Exporters, is organizing the 3rd edition of the Grape Festival. The event will take place on Sunday, August 23, in the center of Cimislia Town, IPN reports.
The feast will gather grape farmers and exporters from all over the country, scientists, manufacturers of equipment for packaging and processing grapes and seedling growers. The winners of the Giant Grape and the Most Delicious Grape will be awarded during the festivity, while visitors will also enjoy a fair of craftsmen, traditional cuisine and a concert headlined by Lenuta Gheorghita.
The event is meant to promote farmers who grow table grapes, boost the development of this field, discover new sale and export opportunities.
