The Christmas Tree was removed on Saturday, from the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau. Its branches will go to garbage, but the trunk will be used to make planks and repair the benches in the Public Garden Stephen the Great and the Holy. Lidia Babara, in charge of Green Spaces for Center district, told Info-Prim Neo the decorations were packed and stored to be used next year. The uninstallation of the tree began early in the morning, at 6 AM. Iulia Isac, worker of Green Spaces, said the most difficult job was gathering the decorations. It required a lot of attention to avoid breaking the glass ones. The Christmas Tree was installed in the Great National Assembly Square at the beginning of December. The City Hall bought it from a family in Botanica district for 9000 lei.
