The country’s main Christmas Tree located in the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth” and the festive lighting in Chisinau will be inaugurated on December 1, IPN reports.
The Chisinau City Hall invites all the residents and guests of the capital city to the festivity. On this occasion, there will be staged a concert that will involve the following Moldovan singers and bands: “Doremi Show”, Cristina Scarlat, Doinita Gherman, “Crenguta de iedera” led by Maria Iliut, Costi Burlacu and Corina Tepes together with Smarandita, the folk dances ensemble “Hora-horita”, Felicia Dunaf, Diana Brescan, Aura together with Lori and Beti, Diana Rotaru, Ionela Craciun, Georgeta Voinovan, Tania Cerga, Andrei Glavan, “Iedera” led by V. Osoianu, “Plaiesii”, Guz, and Kapushon.
The event starts at 6pm.
