Attending the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said those who visited the Christmas Bazaar in the period, including the children, could receive presents from Santa Claus and enjoyed nice moments. “The goal we set was achieved. In this period of time, concerts were given by many artists who reminded of our nice traditions as we have really nice traditions in the Republic of Moldova,” stated the Premier.
Pavel Filip voiced hope that this wonderful tradition will continue. “The people hold posts and then leave. When I leave premiership, I want to leave this tradition behind me and I’m confident that the next Governments will respect it,” concluded Pavel Filip.
On the last day of the Christmas Bazaar, a gala concert involving national stars was held in the small town set up on 31 august St. In a draw, there were offered six prizes to participants, namely a TV set, two tablet PCs and three smartphones. Also, three companies that decorated their small houses in the most original way received diplomas.
