With preparations underway for Independence Day festivities, Chisinau’s Stefan cel Mare Boulevard will be on and off closed for vehicle traffic on a number of sections, announced the municipality.
On August 24, the Boulevard will be closed starting 3PM on the section between the streets Pușkin and Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni.
On August 25, the Boulevard will be closed from 9AM to 2PM from the intersection with Mihai Viteazul Street to the intersection with Vasile Alecsandri Street. From 7AM to 11AM traffic will be closed on the section between the streets Pușkin and Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni.
On August 26, the Boulevard will be closed from 6AM to 3PM on the section between the streets Pușkin and Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni.
On August 27, when most open door festivities will be held, a significant stretch of the Boulevard will be closed for traffic from 6AM to 2AM, namely from the intersection with Mihai Viteazul Street to the intersection with Vasile Alecsandri Street. The Great National Assembly Square will remain closed for traffic until 11PM.
During Independence Day festivities, public transport will be detoured.
