Chisinau's City Hall hosts expo

34 paintings by Vasile Movileanu, showing old Chisinau, are exposed in the Chisinau City Hall quarters. The exhibition is dedicated to the City Day and was inaugurated Monday. The paintings show landscapes from the downtown mostly. Vasile Movileanu has told Info-Prim Neo he wants to tell the capital's guests, councilors, servants and ordinary people that “we have a green city, splendid, we can be proud of.” General Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca attending the opening, presenting the painter a book titled “Stefan”. The exhibition will last a month and the works can be bought at some 200 euros a piece. Vasile Movileanu's works are also exhibited at the Arts Museum from Chisinau, at the Arts Museum from Tulcea, Romania, and in private collections in Moldova, France, Russia, Norway and the U.S.
