Chisinau young man hospitalised with multiple stab wounds

A Chisinau young man, 21, was admitted to hospital with numerous knife wounds. Doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service, Anatol Proca, told Info-Prim Neo, that the man was stabbed by a friend of him. On Tuesday, February 20, at about 2 PM, the two men engaged in a quarrel in an apartment on Vasile Lupu Street. The 21-year-old man was admitted to the Emergency Hospital with stab wounds in the right lumbar region and in the left shoulder. The case is handled by the police. At approximately the same hour, a woman in her 60s was found on Mihai Sadoveanu Street with acute alcoholic intoxication. The woman was admitted to “Sfanta Treime” Hospital. Near midnight, another woman in advanced state of drunkenness was found on Alecu Russo Street. The woman, 55, had brain concussion and facial soft tissue injuries. A woman of about 40, most likely homeless, was found dead on Zelinski Street. Last day and night, Emergency Service doctors registered 858 calls, responding to 24 cases of acute respiratory diseases, 48 cases of trauma, 6 brain concussions and 61 cases of mumps.
