Chisinau woman kills mother with piece of glass

A 26-year-old woman living in Chisinau’s Rascani district is suspected of killing her mother by stabbing her in the heart with a piece of broken glass. Chisinau General Police Commissariat spokesman Adrian Jovmir has told Info-Prim Neo that on June 4 the woman called the police and informed that she found her mother dead. The police examined the scene and established that it was a murder. The young woman became the main suspect. During questioning, the woman confessed that she had a quarrel with her mother and stabbed her with a piece of glass. She said she did not want to kill her and immediately called the police and an ambulance, but aid came too late. The young woman faces 8 to 15 years in jail.
