Chisinau woman killed in her own home

A Chisinau 20-year-old woman was murdered in her own home. The body was found on Friday evening by the victim’s sister. Ludmila Untura, doctor-coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the woman’s body was found at around 19:00 in a puddle of blood in her home on Maria Dragan Street. The woman had a stab wound to the femur, the femoral artery slashed. The case is handled by the police. A 4-year-old boy ended up in the hospital after inserting a stainless steel knitting needle in an electric plug at his grandma’s place. At around 22:30, a woman with unknown identity was found on Bogdan Voievod Street bearing evident marks of aggression. Suffering head trauma and brain concussion, she was admitted to the Emergency Hospital for treatment. On Friday, March 21, and the following night the Chisinau Emergency Service received 704 calls, responding to 56 cases of trauma, 65 cases of acute viral diseases, 2 brain strokes and 33 cases of mumps.
