Chisinau voters preferred democratic parties, Taraclia voted massively for PCRM

23.9% Chisinau voters cast their ballots for the Liberal Party (PL). The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) gained 17.5%, the Democratic Party (PDM) – 10.4% and Our Moldova Alliance (AMN) – 5.6%. The Communists Party got 40% of the Chisinau voters' ballots, Info-Prim Neo reports. The citizen from Moldova's north most voted the Communists – 58.2%. For the PDM in the north, 15.6% of the voters cast ballots, and for the PLDM – 12.8%, for PL – 7.6% and for AMN – 2.9%. Also in Moldova's south, the voters voted differently. In Cahul, 57.8% preferred the democratic parties and 38.4% – the PCRM. In Taraclia, however, 80.7% of the voters opted for the PCRM. 51.4% of the voters from the left bank of the Nistru voted for the democratic parties: PLDM – 26.6%, PL – 14.6%, AMN – 4.7%, and PDM – 5.5%.
