Chisinau vocational schools present their offers in expo

Graduating pupils are invited to visit the exhibition “A right choice – a sure future”, lasting from April 8 through 10. The exhibition displays works made by students from vocational schools from Chisinau. The chief of the Chisinau Education Division, Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, has told Info-Prim Neo the exhibition pursues to make the pupils aware of the vocational schools. “We hope the children will choose the right profession,” she said. According to Tverdohleb, not so much attention is paid to vocational schools, and the pupils don't know about other option except from going to a high school. The graduating pupils can also benefit from consulting from psychologists and will be checked up. This will help them to choose the right profession, Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb has said. Physician Svetlana Gherciu said at the inauguration of the exhibition that “the medical checkup is necessary to establish the compatibility between the health state and the environment the person will work in after graduating from the vocational school.” A representative of the Employment Office urged the attendees to ask the agency for information about the jobs needed now in Moldova. The vocational schools will also have 'open door days' to present their offers.
