Unknown persons have shot with an air gun at a trolleybus on route 2, damaging its window. The incident happened on Wednesday night, around 11 PM on Dacia Avenue. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
Chisinau Police spokeswoman Natalia Stati told IPN that the trolleybus was shot at just as it was resuming its route after a bus The driver heard a bang and stopped. He then found a hole in one the middle windows of the trolleybus. The police are investigating the case. The preliminary version is that someone shot at the transport with an air gun.
Dorin Ciornii, head the Electric Transport Network, told IPN that replacing the window will cost about 3000 lei. A request has already been sent to the manufacturer in Belarus and the window should be replaced within a week.
