The Chisinau City Hall will ask the Kiev court to reexamine the case concerning the debts of 15 million lei of the Chisinau Trolleybus Company to the Ukrainian firm Electro-Plus, Law Division head Diana Gurschi said at the July 26 meeting of the City Hall, Info-Prim Neo reports. Diana Gurschi said the City Hall received the motivated decision of the Supreme Court of Justice of Moldova, which ruled that the debt transfer contracts under which Electro-Plus claims debts are null and void. The court argued that the firm's representative Golbridge Trading Limited, which would have signed the transfer contracts with Electro-Plus, has never entered Moldova and could not sign that contracts. “The swindle planned to destroy the Chisinau Trolleybus Company failed. It was proved that no debts were transferred to firms from England, Russia or Ukraine,” said Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. He stressed that the company's accounts remain blocked, but he will demand that they be immediately unblocked. After the Supreme Court of Justice on July 1 decided that the Chisinau Trolleybus Company does not have to pay debts of 15 million lei to Electro-Plus, a Russian firm appeared, called Bacy, claiming those debts.
