Chisinau to host Moldovan-Latvian economic forum

Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga will pay an official visit to Moldova on April 2-4, accompanied by a group of businessmen, representatives of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIDA), Riga-based Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). The visit will include an economic forum with participation of the Moldovan and Latvian presidents, CCI of Moldova and Latvia, LIDA, relevant ministries of Moldova, and businessmen from the two countries. The Latvian delegation includes representatives of 42 companies working in the banking and finance sectors, transportation, information technologies and Internet, energy and heating, engineering industry, education, system, etc. The forum will organise bilateral meetings where Moldovan entrepreneurs will enjoy possibilities to establish business and partnership relations with Latvian companies. Interested businesses must apply to the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for participation. The Moldovan-Latvian economic forum will take place at the Palace of the Republic on April 4, at 09:30.
