Chisinau to host meeting of Regional Communications Community

The Committee of the Regional Community in the area of Communications will meet in Chisinau on September 18-20 to regulate the use of radiofrequencies spectrum and electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic equipment (EMC REE), satellite communication, television and sound diffusion. Ahead of the meeting, on September 17, the Working Group of the Committee of the Regional Community in the area of Communications will discuss preparations for the World Radiocommunication Conference. The meeting will bring together representatives from communication authorities from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. The discussion will focus on the implementation of digital radio-broadcasting, conversion of radiofrequencies spectrum, satellite technology.
