The Chisinau authorities are announcing a second vaccination marathon for the education employees, to take place this Friday and Saturday under the slogan “Let’s go to school safely!” The effort is in line with the municipality’s intention to start the school year on September 1 with a physical presence for all pupils and teachers.
Both teachers and auxiliary personnel are invited to the marathon. They will be able to choose from Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca and Sinovac shots, which will be given free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
The municipal vaccination center, located on 18 Petru Rareş Street, is open from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM and has a capacity to process 1,200 people a day.
The first anti-COVID-19 vaccination marathon for education employees took place in Chisinau on July 30 and 31.
Yesterday, Moldova recorded 200 new coronavirus cases, 174 of which among unvaccinated people. Currently 385 people are being treated for Covid in hospital, including 42 patients suffering severe forms.
