The Chisinau Teachers' Convention, this year themed “Access, Relevance, Quality in Education: Competence for the Present and Future” will take place on August 20. This was announced by the municipal education chief Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb at the City Hall's ordinary meeting today, IPN reports.
The Convention will bring together teachers as well as educational managers. The event will be opened with a welcome speech by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, and Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb will take stock of her Division's work in the school year 2014/15. A debate will be then held and a resolution adopted.
To improve the organization and conducting of the Convention, the Education Division held debates during August 10-18 as part of specialized workshops across the municipality.
