The public utility SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” is performing works to rehabilitate the water pipes on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd, at the intersection with Mitropolit Gavriil Banulescu-Bodoni St, on September 20. Therefore, a number of street sections will be closed for traffic until September 22, 5am, IPN reports.
The sections that will be inaccessible to traffic are: the section of Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd going through the Great National Assembly Square; the section of Mitropolit Gavriil Banulescu-Bodoni between Alexandru cel Bun and Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd; the section of Columna St between the streets Maria Cebotari and Mitropolit Gavriil Banulescu-Bodoni.
According to the director of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci, the trolleybuses crossing central Chisinau were diverted to Bucuresti St.
The itinerary of trolleybuses running on routes No. 10 and 24 was shortened up to Renasterii Blvd from where they turn to Cosmonautilor St and continue the road in the opposite direction, without reaching Telecentru quarter.
