Vehicle traffic will not have access to a number of streets in Chisinau on Saturday, September 21, until 8 p.m., IPN reports.
On the occasion of the European Mobility Week, the Chisinau City Hall organizes a day without traffic on 31 August 1989 St (section between Pushkin and Alecsandri streets) and on Vlaicu Pârcălab St (from București St to Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd).
Vehicle traffic will also not have access to the section of Albișoara St between Mihai Viteazul (from the bridge) and Petru Rareș streets, due to the municipal cycling championship, on the Criterium race. Therefore, the itinerary of public transport will be changed. Thus, trolleybuses No. 38 will run from Ion Creangă St along Ștefan cel Mare Blvd, Negruzzi St, Gagarin Blvd and further as usual. Minibuses No. 171 and 174 will change their route from Mitropolit Dosoftei St to Maria Cebotari and Columna streets.
Drivers in Chisinau are urged to comply with the instructions and requests of the traffic police and to show patience and discipline in traffic, without deviations from the road regulations.
