Chisinau state budget earners' wages are 11% smaller than average

The average monthly salary of a Chisinau employee was 3,375.0 lei from January through May, rising 9.6% year on year. The average monthly retribution of an employee of the institutions financed from the state budget was 3,004.2 lei, by 11% smaller than the municipal average, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to data issued by the Economy and Reforms Division of the Chisinau Council, there were 341,400 employees working during that period, as 65,700 worked in state or municipal institutions.
