Chisinau sends 600 boxes of Tamiflu to Transnistria

The Moldovan authorities have dispatched 600 boxes of Tamiflu to Transnistria. The drug is used to treat pandemic flu. The given batch was offered by the World Health Organization to Moldova in humanitarian aid, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Government's press service. The Ministry of Health of Moldova said the action forms part of the programs of medical assistance offered by international organizations and donors. The Transnistrian medical institutions also received materials needed to conduct an awareness raising campaign to inform the people about the methods of preventing the A (H1N1) pandemic influenza.
