Repairs in Chisinau's educational establishments ahead of the school year starting on September 1 have been 90% completed. The municipal education chief Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb told the City Hall's ordinary meeting on Monday that the preparations for the upcoming school year are going better compared to last year, IPN reports.
In the educational institutions which undergo complete roofing replacement, the repairs could extend beyond September 1, but Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb assured they wouldn't affect the educational process.
The municipal finance chief Veronica Herta said a total of 25.4 million lei was allocated from the city coffers for repairing the schools and kindergartens in the municipality.
