Chisinau schools and kindergartens involved in cleanup drive

The students and personnel of all the schools and kindergartens of Chisinau municipality carry out a general cleanup drive in the yards of the institutions on March 23, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the City Hall. The drive involves 141 preuniversity education institutions and 153 kindergartens. In order to motivate the students to also clean the yards where they live, alongside their parents, the City Hall announced a photographs contest themed “I and my family – we all like cleanness”. The best pictures taken during the drive will be awarded on March 31. The winners will include by ten students from each preuniversity education institution of Chisinau municipality. Besides these cleanup activities, the City Hall this spring stages a broad cleanup campaign themed “Come on, Chisinau!”. All the residents are asked to take part in the cleaning of the yards of their apartment buildings and of the green areas of Chisinau on March 31.
