Chisinau road workers promise winter without trouble

Over 3,000 cubic meters of road treatment materials have been already stocked at the Municipal Transportation Division of Chisinau municipality, the division's head Veaceslav Tarna, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the following weeks the division will prepare an amount at least thrice this quantity so that the drivers would not have troubles on the city's roads this winter. Last winter the division made do with 10,000 cubic meters of road treatment materials. Veaceslav Tarna also said that if the weather allowed the division would work on the repair of about 3,700 square meters of asphalt damaged by the abundant rains this summer. The division is equipped with 78 special vehicles for road maintenance in wintertime.
