Chisinau residents will be able to verify electoral registers online

The persons who have the domiciles or residence visa in Chisinau can check if they are on the electoral rolls for the November 28 legislative elections by accessing the website www.chisinau.md, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Chisinau City Hall The person has only to select the district of residence and the number of the identity card. Those who changed recently the domicile, the identity card or other personal data, can ask for these data to be modified in the electoral registers by filling our an application form online. The voters who do not know the address of the poling place where they can vote, can consult the Find Out Where You Vote! division. By selecting the district and address of the domicile, the person will find out the number of the polling place, the address and telephone number of the electoral office. The lists can be verified from November 8 until November 22 inclusive. Launched in 2009, the project is implemented by the Chisinau City Hall in cooperation with the Centru district head’s office, with support from Soros Foundation Moldova and the United Nations Development Program Moldova.
