Chisinau remains without hot water

The supply of hot water in the municipality of Chisinau will be turned off on July 19 and resumed in a month, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the press service of the heat supplier SA Termocom, such a measure that is usually taken in summer is needed in order to allow the thermoelectric plant CET-2 to repair and clean its equipment. “The owners of basements where there are heating pipelines must take precautionary measures in order to avoid crack or ruptures of the pipes and leakages of hot water,” the heat supplier says in a communiqué. SA Termocom calls on the residents of Chisinau to contact its’ Central Dispatcher’s Office in case of related accidents.
