Chisinau’s families with vulnerable status and with school-age children will receive lump sum aids of 700 lei to prepare the kids for the upcoming school year. It is estimated that some 8,000 persons are eligible for the aid.
According to the City Hall, eligible beneficiaries are families with low or no income, those raising three or more children, single-parent families or where at least one parent is disabled, and families with legal guardian status.
Eligibility will be verified, with beneficiaries required to produce documents confirming their social status or other circumstances detailed above.
Applications must be submitted to the relevant educational institutions and addressed to the principal. The applications will be verified by specialized commissions and approved by August 20.
