Chisinau police to get ten new cars

Ten new Dacia Logan cars will be delivered this week to the Chisinau police. The announcement was made by the head of the General Finance Division Veronica Herta in Monday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The present for the municipal police is not as white as the snow, but is rather white. The ten cars will facilitate the work of the police in Chisinau,” said Veronica Herta. The vehicles were bought from Romania and will get to Chisinau on December 21. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the 10 cars will be donated by the City Hall on the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the national police. On December 23, there will be handed over the keys, while the next day – the registration certificates of the cars. Dorin Chirtoaca also said that the police, as the other sectors, should be reformed. He urged that the reforms initiated in the area be continued. The City Hall allocated 1.5 million lei for buying the ten cars.
