The Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport has designed the Pedagogue of 2014 who will represent the municipality at the national stage of the contest. The top prize went to Virginia Vangheli, a primary teacher at “Stefan cel Mare” Lyceum, IPN reports.
At municipal level, the participants covered two selection stages. The first stage involved 83 teachers. At the second stage, there were selected 16 competitors, ten of whom fulfilled all the tasks for being nominated at municipal level.
Within the contest, the teachers presented audiovisual materials on the theme “In the name of the future”. They wrote an essay about the professional portrait of the teacher and presented a long-term teaching project and the plan of an extra-curricular activity.
The Division’s head Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said the occupation of teacher comes from God, while the teachers are insistent persons who work hard to achieve high performance.
