Chisinau man dies after falling down from first floor

A man from the capital city died after falling down to the basement of the apartment house he lived in, in Botanica district. According to the doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service of the capital, Evelina Rusu, the man aged 34, fell from the first floor to the basement of the block on Cetatea Alba Street, where he lived. The doctors assume that the death was the result of the fracture of the spine in the cervical region. The forensic expertise will establish the exact reason of the death. The Emergency Service was called by a man, aged 65, with a stab wound in the neck region and with a hemorrhagic shock at his home, on Podul Inalt Street. According to the doctors, the man was drunk when found. He claimed he was stabbed by some strangers. The police are currently conduction an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Over the past 24 hours, the Emergency Service was called by 602 persons, 70 of which with traumatisms.
