Chisinau in paintings, in children’s eyes

Paintings of Chisinau streets, important buildings and monuments made in different techniques by children aged between 7 and 16 were exhibited at “Onisifor Ghibu” Library in the capital city, Info-Prim Neo reports. The exhibit themed “Chisinau – Sign of Destiny, Symbol of Accomplishments” is part of the My City program dedicated to Chisinau’s Day. It was staged in concert with the cultural center “Artelit”, which promotes popular and contemporary arts and experience exchange between artists. “By arts, we will live and become a prosperous society,” Elena Vulpe, the head of “Onisifor Ghibu” Library, said in the opening. The event brought together children from the “Artelit” center and from a small-group homes center. During the opening ceremony, there was presented the educative journal for chidlren “Curious Chick”. The exhibition will last for three weeks. The community project was launched by the municipal library “B.P.Hasdeu”. It covers all the library’s branches, including “Onisifor Ghibu”.
