A fire engulfed last night over 100 square meters of a glass factory, destroying sacks of polyethylene and 16 boxes of finished glass. Twelve firefighting vehicles struggled to contain the blaze, IPN reports.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service has said that the firefighters were alerted close to midnight. The fire started in a production section of a glass factory located on Transnistriei St. The fire covered 100 square meters of the section. The rest of the production section of about 500 square meters was saved. Nobody was hurt.
The fire was localized at 00.40 and fully extinguished at 00.49. The experimental anti-fire lab is to establish all the circumstances and causes of the fire.
