The education institutions of Chisinau municipality need 176 teachers and educators more. It is for the first time in the last few years that the vacancies weren’t filled, IPN reports.
Olga Zastavnetskaya, acting head of the General Education Division’s Human Resources Section, said the Ministry of Education offered work in the institutions of Chisinau to 185 young specialists, but only 26 of them accepted the offer.
The General Education Division of Chisinau will make an approach to the Ministry so that it allows the educators to work on a salary and a half.
As many as 1,065 teachers were employed in the municipality of Chisinau between August 15 and September 6, 182 of whom by plurality of offices.
