About 50 pre-school children will go to Kindergarten no.133 in Chisinau’s Centru sector as it reopened today after being closed down seven years ago because of its rundown condition.
Principal Iulia Botan stated during the reopening ceremony that the conditions for the children are extraordinary after the rehabilitation. “The rooms are spacious and furnished with everything needed. The kitchen has top-notch cooking and refrigerating equipment. There is an autonomous heating system that will provide hot water round the clock”.
Viorica Negrei, interim municipal education chief, welcomed the completion of the repair, saying that it cost around 7 million lei of municipal money that was allocated in installments.
During the event, the children sang songs and recited poems to Father Christmas. Lilia, mother of a three-year-old, said the family was very happy to hear a new daycare was opening near their home. “I love the conditions here and I’m very glad my child will grow up in such a pleasant and tidy atmosphere”.
