The Chisinau City Court on July 1 will sign the contract for the purchase of the 100 ISUZU buses intended for the municipality, IPN reports.
The seven buses that were already delivered to Chisinau of the lot of 58 units of transport do not form part of the consignment of 100 buses. These are two different lots, said the mayor of Chisinau Ion Cenan.
The 58 buses will be distributed immediately to the suburban settlements of the capital city. A minimum of 158 buses will be delivered to Chisinau by the end of this year.
The Urban Bus Company is to hire more drivers.
