The Municipal Division for the Protection of Children’s Rights will stage the traditional meeting with children who remained without parental care, lyceum graduates of the 2017 class. The event will take place in the meeting hall of the Chisinau City Hall on May 26, IPN reports.
The young people will meet with representatives of the Chisinau City Hall, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family and other officials.
In a press release, the Division says that by this event they aim to establish informational cooperation between the central and local public authorities, to ensure favorable conditions for the graduates who remained without parental care to learn a job that would later facilitate their social and professional integration.
Currently, the local tutelage authority of Chisinau municipality supervises 1,534 children who remained without parental care. Of these, 11 this year have completed the twelfth grade, while 55 the ninth grade.
The event starts at 3pm.
