Chisinau City Hall resumes stopping up streets

The City Hall started again to stoop up holes in the streets of Chisinau. Under an ordinance made by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, the works will continue until October 15 or later if the weather permits, Info-Prim Neo reports. Veaceslav Tarna, the head of the Public Transport and Communications Division, said 170,000 square meters of street inside quarters have been repaired so far this year. The sections of road damaged by this summer's rain will be repaired by winter. Repair works are also carried our in suburban settlements. The Division is preparing for winter and has already stored 30 tonnes of antiskid material.
