The Chisinau City Hall filed a complaint to the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of the Interior after a group of people broke into the mayoral building during the November 3 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and subdivisions and is still there, in the meeting hall of the Municipal Council, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the City Hall, by their acts these persons blocked the activity of the local public authorities. In its complaint to the law enforcement bodies, the City Hall demands taking measures to restore the order and the functionality of the institution.
On November 3, a number of veterans who are members of the public association “Movement of Transnistrian Refugees” picketed the City Hall and then entered by force the meeting hall, blocking the work of division heads. The veterans are dissatisfied that they cannot become owners of the apartments they received from the state.
