Chisinau City Hall joints in demand to remove peacekeeping posts

The Chisinau City Hall subscribes to the Pirita local council’s position that the peacekeeping posts set up in the Security Zone should be removed, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vadim Brinzaniuc, head of the PR Division of the Chisinau City Hall, traveled to the place where Security Zone residents are mounting a protest to make public the stance of the Chisinau administration. The City Hall demands taking away all the peacekeeping posts, especially the one located near Vadul lui Voda town that forms part of the municipality of Chisinau. About 1 000 inhabitants of the villages Pirita, Cosnita, Dorotcaia and Pohrebea of Dubasari district Tuesday staged a protest at the trilateral peacekeeping post No. 9 near Vadul lui Voda, where a young man from Pirita was shot mortally on January 1.
