Chisinau City Hall honors its awardees

The Chisinau City Hall honored today the elderly persons and students with special accomplishments in science, medicine, culture and sport, Info-Prim Neo reports. This year, the City Hall provided 211 scholarships of 1,000 lei, by 11 more than last year. “It is a nice tradition that we want to keep. Each of the awardees achieved remarkable results in education, medicine or sport. These accomplishments must be honored and praised,” Tatiana Nagnibeda Tverdohleb, the head of the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, stated for Info-Prim Neo. The awardees were selected by a municipal commission composed of local councilors and officials of education institutions. The City Hall offers scholarships the 14th year.
