The Chisinau City Hall approved a framework calendar of cultural events and fairs planned to be staged in the municipality in 2022. The events start this weekend, on March 19, IPN reports.
A farmers’ fair will be held in “Alunelul” Park of Buiucani district between 9am and 5pm on March 19-20. A number of 62 agricultural producers announced their participation in the fair that is organized by the National Farmers Federation in partnership with UN Woman.
A series of fairs will be held later, mostly on the weekend, including of berries, of honey products, of handcarts and handmade items, of Easter products, of school supplies, of wine products, of fir trees and a Christmas fair at the end of the year.
Among other planned events are pedestrian trips and also thematic trips by the Tourist Trolleybus to different locations in Chisinau.
Information about the scheduled events will be published on the official website “chisinau.md”, on the website of the General Division of Economy, Trade and Tourism and in the media, the municipality has said.
