The Chisinau City Hall announces the organization of voluntary blood donation events in a number of locations in the municipality in the course of December. The campaign, carried out in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Center, aims to collect blood to cover the needs of the health system and save lives, IPN reports.
In Botanica sector, residents are invited to donate blood on December 6, between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m., inside Family Doctors Center No. 3 of the Botanica Local Medical Association. The second such event in this sector will take place on December 11, during the same period of time, at the Sângera Health Center on Arhanghelul Mihail St.
The inhabitants of Buiucani sector can contribute to the campaign on December 19, between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m., inside Family Doctors Center No. 5 of the Buiucani Local Medical Association.
In Ciocana sector, the donation event will take place on December 17, between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m., at the District Head’s Office located at 4/3Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd.
Voluntary donors will benefit from social packages that include a donation certificate that entitles them to two days off from work, one of which on the day of donation. The authorities emphasize that every gesture of solidarity counts and contributes to saving those who depend on urgent treatments.
The City Hall urges the inhabitants of the capital city to join this campaign, highlighting that blood donation is not only direct support for those in need, but also a proof of solidarity and responsibility towards the community.
