The Chisinau City Hall, SA Termocom, CET - 1, CET - 2, MoldovaGaz and the Ministry of Economy signed a memorandum which says that none of the parties involved in the production and supply of heat in Chisinau has the right to block the accounts of another party, as it happened until now, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the June 10 general assembly of the shareholders of Termocom, the company's administrator Dionisie Antocel said the misunderstandings between the administration and the City Hall derived from a difficult situation, when the creditors demanded that the debts be settled, while the consumers were to be supplied with heat. “After the power to set the heat charges was transferred to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, the bone of contention disappeared. There is one more sensitive issue – the City Hall's debt of 80 million lei to Termocom, for the compensations pad last year, and the debt of 35 million lei of the institutions that are financed from the municipal budget,” Dionisie Antocel said. According to him, the negotiations on the memorandum were difficult and long, but an agreement was finally reached and it should be respected. If the City Hall does not make an effort to transfer the money, the next heating season will not start on time. The next general assembly of shareholders on July 1 will elect the Administration Board of SA Termocom, which, for its part, will choose the director.
