The Chisinau Circus will be included in the Register of State-Protected Landmarks of the Republic of Moldova, Parliament decided today.
Also included will be the building that once housed the Ministry of Food (currently accommodating the Prosecutor General’s Office), the Maternity Hospital no. 2 and the adjacent park, and the Bechir’s Cave hermitage in Soroca.
At the same time, the Landmarks Register will include updates that will correct errors identified following an inventory of Chisinau’s architectural and historical heritage carried out in 2020.
