The Central Market of Chisinau will be closed on a temporary basis in connection with the measures taken to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). An order to this effect will be made today, March 13, mayor Ion Ceban announced after the meeting of the municipal commission for emergencies, IPN reports.
“We call on everyone to show understanding in this regard,” urged the mayor.
Also, the social canteens in the municipality will be closed and social assistants will take food home to beneficiaries.
The disinfection of playgrounds and other public places in the capital city started today.
