More than 30 companies, universities and NGOs from Moldova and abroad are taking part in the third Chisinau Career Fair that was opened on April 12.

Contacted by IPN, project manager Eugeniu Girla said that most of the jobs offered by companies are in such areas as sales, IT, design, and marketing, while the opportunities are different. “The employers are more willing to employ young specialists without much experience because the number of working people decreases significantly from year to year. The fair involves companies that opened their own training schools to train students as specialists inside the company,” he stated.

Five large companies of Moldova taking part in the fair will provide a professional development course in IT or foreign languages so as to offer more employment opportunities to the persons who do not have knowledge in these areas. The persons who will visit the fair can receive consultancy in preparing a CV or getting ready for a job interview.

Coca-Cola Hellenic Moldova made four employment offers in a number of areas. The persons who are looking for a job can receive information about the exhibited jobs and the requirements for candidates at the company’s stand. The company offers by a post of warehouse clerk, maintenance mechanic, database operator, business developer and finance specialist. Diana Petrea, Coca-Cola Hellenic Moldova PR and communication specialist, said the company uses this fair and other similar activities to study the labor market of the country and stimulate the young people’s interest in modern as well as traditional professions.

The program of the second day of the fair on April 13 includes the “I Love my Job” event that is intended for young people aged between 18 and 30. It is aimed at helping them choose a career and at creating a communication platform between young people and successful people who love what they do.

The organizers present the Chisinau Career Fair as the largest career event in the country. The event takes place at the Center of Military Culture and History located at 47 Tighina St. “The fair is organized by the company Kintaly that specializes in events and consultancy in the area of human resources.
